    3. You can access the Website of the Edgar County Genealogy Library at: www.tigerpaw.com/ecgl/ and download forms with fees for ordering research and publications for sale. We ask for advance payment of re- search fees. You will be billed for copies and postage. Most Edgar Co Marriages from 1823-1860, 1878-1900 are abstracted from original records, license application, and/or marriage returns. So they often provide a lot of additional information, for instance after 1878 ages of marriage couple, places of birth and residence, times mar- ried; names of parents, by whom and where married, names of witnesses; record book and page. Vol 1, 1823-1860 gives additional information if it was available from original "vouchers." Over 160 cemeteries in county have been read and recorded, and these records are now being updated by volunteer members of the Genealogical Society.
