Hi , cousin....You are a fairly close kin. My grandfather was John K Nay, Grandson of Elza Nay . My ggrandfather was Zachariah ,the oldest son of Elza and Elendor Pinnell Nay. Benjamin Franklin was the seventh child of Elza and Elendor. You are right about the Pinnells and the Nays intermarrying. I have a letter written by Arthur Nay to John K Nay about the time that Benjamin's wife Susan died. If you would like any more info on these ancestors I would be delighted to share what I have. I presume you have the Nay Family Genealogy compiled by Ernest Omar Nay MD. As you know the original Nay came with his family from Siegen Germany in 1734 and they were part of the Germanna Colony ...actually by the time they arrived the colony had moved into Fauquier County. But the Nays are written up in the Germanna Colony material. I went to Siegen , Germany where the Nays lived for generations. I think we can trace the Nay family back to around 1300 or so. I have also located a Nay family burial ground at Nay Pines in Fauquier Co. Jessie Nay Heinzman
