They are found in the 1860 census of Edgar Co. I am guessing that after Prudence died, Alexander and their sons moved to Grayson Co., TX. I know there are a lot of Moyers in Edgar in the 1850-1870 timeframe, but I have not found any connection with them and Alexander. My interest in Alexander is that in the 1850 census of Vigo Co, IN there is an Alexander living with a Linus Moyer. In his biography in Vigo Co, Linus states that his father was David Moyer of Canada. My connection comes from Elizabeth Moyer. I have no idea who her father was. I have been looking at the assumption that somehow she was related to David. If you can say that Alexander of Edgar came from your line of Moyers, then I need to start looking for some other connections.
