I'm searching for the parents of a William Denton, born abt 1807 in Washington Co., Tennessee. He married Mary Pearman or Pearmore in Vermillion Co., Indiana in 1937 and had moved to Edgar Co., Illinois by 1849. His children are: Henry A, Jonas, John, Samuel, Thomas, Sarah Jane, and Elizabeth. Sarah Jane Denton (b. abt 1847) married David Scott Moore in Edgar Co., Illinois in 1867 and had twins, Grace and Harry (b. 1883), Carrie A. (b. abt 1877) and Minnie (abt 1875).
