Please contact me if you know of this line or have a connection to this line of Powells. William Lewis, born between 1851 and 1861 in Wabash County, Indiana, may have been the son of either Samuel Powell, a Baptist Circuit Rider, or Samuel's son Hiram Powell. Ephraim Powell, born in 1854 in Wabash County, Indiana, we believe is Samuel's son with a crippled back who never married.
