Looking for any info on Margaret Anderson Piper who died 1893 supposedly in Edgar County. She was there in 1860 along with her four children and her mother. The children were John William 17, Alexander A. 16 (I've also seen this as Alfred Allen), Anna Rebecca 14, and Jacob Thomas 8. The mother was Rebecca Stout Anderson 83. Margaret and all the children were born in VA; Rebecca was born in NJ. I'm guessing that Rebecca also died in Edgar County but I have no data. In the 1860 census this family is listed as Pipper. They are living next door to the William Shank family. Elizabeth Anderson Shank was Margaret's sister. Any help would be appreciated. Larry Copley [email protected]
