Henry and Rhoda Randolph CONOVER HARMISON were married 29 July 1832 in Pike Co, OH. Henry was born 18 Aug 1812 in Pike Co, OH and died 9 Feb 1852 in Edgar Co, IL Rhoda was born 20 June 1815 in New Jersey and died 13 Mar 1890 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery Moultrie Co, IL. Does anyone know where Henry is buried? Or who his parents and siblings are? Henry and Rhoda had the following children: John Conover HARMISON b. 26 May 1833 in Pike Co, OH d. 2 July 1908 in Glen Rose TX married to Naomi DAVIS on 12 Mar 1857 in Clarke Co, IL. John and Naomi lived in Edgar County in 1860 with children Henry, Elsberry, Ulysses Elbert, Lyman, Alice Randolph, Ellen, Elmer and Rosa (believe all children born in Edgar Co. 1858 to 1869. Leaving for Moultrie County, IL then Alice married William H. Harding and came to Kansas.....where did the others go. Sabrina HARMISON b. 1835 in Paris, Edgar Co. IL d. 19 May 1880 Moultrie Co, IL. married George W. Hoggett 5 Feb 1854 in Edgar Co, IL. (The Harmison and Hoggett families were neighbors in the 1850 census of Edgar County). Elias HARMISON b. 1837 Paris, Edgar Co, IL d. 5 Jul 1860 buried in Edgar Co. IL Where? Catharine HARMISON b. 21 May 1839 in Paris, Edgar Co. IL d. 9 Nov 1928 in Bethany, Moultre Co, IL married John William DAVIS 24 Feb 1857 in Clarke Co, IL. Are John and Naomi DAVIS related....perhaps siblings? Hueston HARMISON b. 1841 Paris, Edgar Co, IL married a lady named Amanda and Rhoda was living with him in 1970 census in Moultrie Co., IL. Elizabeth HARMISON b 25 May 1849 in IL d. 29 Aug 1928 buried in Bethany Cemetery, Moultrie Co. IL married Felix Leseure 5 Sep 1869 in Paris, Edgar Co., IL. Emalina HARMISON b. 25 May 1852 in Clarke Co, IL d. 1928 buried in Bethany Cemetery, Moultrie Co, IL married to Clinton C. DAVIS 8 Oct 1874 in Sullivan, Moultrie Co., IL. Is Clinton related to John and Naomi DAVIS? Again are they siblings married to siblings? Philena V. HARMISON 25 May 1852 in Clarke Co, IL d 26 Sep 1904 buried in Bethany Cemetery, Moultrie Co, IL married to Alfred E. RHODES 29 Nov 1871 in Moultrie Co, IL. I believe Henry and Rhoda came to Edgar County settling near Paris about 1835 and were members of the Christian Church. All help and information on the above families would be greatly appreciated. I descend through John and Naomi's daughter Alice Randolph HARMISON. I am more that willing to share info I have with others.
