Anyone researching the HENSON name in Edgar Co, IL in the early to late 1800's? I am looking for a Jesse HENSON, with a daughter named Mary Elizabeth born abt. 1862 in Herrin, IL. When Mary died in 1947, she was living in Edgar Co. with her daughter, Blanche BINKLEY/SIDES. I have tried to figure out why they ended up in Edgar Co, IL, when Mary and her husband, John BINKLEY, from Wright Co., MO, raised all 8 of their children in NE Arkansas. I have been trying to trace the HENSON family, and thought that perhaps Edgar Co was a good place to look. According to the Statewide Marriage Index there were quite a few HENSON marriages that took place in Edgar Co. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Regina
