I am new to this list and hope I can make a connection. I descend from the Giles JONES (b: Nov. 4, 1813 in Ohio?)and Lucinda MASTERS (b: March 26, 1816 in WV/VA) family. They were married May 27, 1834 in Belmont County, Ohio.Giles died Nov. 6, 1894 and is buried in the Edgar Co. Cemetery in Paris. Lucinda died Aug. 12, 1882 buried same cemetery. They had the following children: Sarah b: Nov 22, 1835 m: William SPUNG Jason b: Dec 6, 1837 John E, b: Jan 24, 1840 Robert A b: April 1, 1842 Harriett b: Sept 16, 1844 Martha J. b: Dec 5, 1846 James William M b: March 1, 1849 Mary Ellen b: March 6, 1851 Almira (Elmira) b: Nov 22, 1853 George W. b: April 7, 1857 (my line) Harry C. b: May 16, 1860 All the children were born in Ohio. They moved to Edgar Co. in 1866. I have a lot of old receipts, mortgage papers, and letters written from 3 of the boys while they were in the Union Army.
