Andrew and his family lived in Edgar Co, Brouilletts Creek Township, from 1860 – 1880 (fm census). I know from Civil War Pension Papers that Andrew died 16 Aug 1890 and he is buried in Edgar Co but cannot find a death certificate on him or his wife. His wife, Mary Ann GILREATH HARRIS remarried 6 months after his death to James SHANE. She is also buried in REED-SUGAR GROVE Cemetery. Andrew’s father was born in KY (fm 1880 census). ANDREW JACKSON HARRIS was born Abt. 1828 in Lawrence Co IN, and died 16 August 1890 in Edgar Co IL. He married MARY ANN GILREATH 26 August 1852 in Martin Co IN, daughter of WILLIAM GILREATH and DORCAS HOLT. She was born September 1833 in KY, and died Aft. 1908 in IL. (We believe that John and Louisa died in the 1860’s as they were not on the 1870 census) THEODOSIA HARRIS (ANDREW JACKSON) was born 25 February 1870 in Edgar Co, Illinois, and died 14 July 1954 in Vermilion Co, Danville, Illinois. She married SAMUEL M. THORNTON 31 December 1889 in Edgar Co., Illinois, son of DANIEL THORNTON and MARTHA MYERS. He was born 09 March 1868 in Edgar Co., Illinois, and died 10 January 1953 in Danville, Vermilion Co, Illinois. Children of THEODOSIA HARRIS and SAMUEL THORNTON are: i. CLARA OLA THORNTON, m.
