I had believed that this was a census taker error as there are quite a few mistakes on this page already. I really don't know if this is the same person or not. Family history is that the second wife was named Elsie Mae (and I believe that part matches the headstone) Cooley. If possible I will ask my mother who knew her well.

Her sister here in Ohio said she married Ova at some point but that is all I am aware of... Kevin

He was married to Adda Arnold on 11/24/1892 until she died in 1916. He then married Elsie Mae Cooley, she died in 1919. I believe that all of the above are intered in the Wesley Chapel Cemetary.

    3. To the person looking for Bonwells in Edgar Co., Il. This will not be much - just another piece of your puzzle probably. I have a Rev. War soldier named Andrew Ingram. He had a boy who named himself, Andrew Ingram, Sr. Andrew, Sr. had a boy named Andrew Ingram, Jr. born in TN. Married in Harrison Co., IN. buried in Vigo Co., IN. Andrew Jr. had a boy named Joseph Emanual Ingram who's first wife was Sarah J. Bonwell. I do not know her parents. Edgar Co., Il. Book LA Pg. 192. Joseph Emanual had a brother named Mathias who married an Isabel Bonwell Edgar Co., Il. Book LA Pg. 228. I have this land indenture that reads in part: Know all men by these presents that we Emanuel Ingram (Joseph went by Emanuel) and Sarah J. Ingram his wife, Jasper Asher and Mary A. Asher his wife, William Givens and Martha Givens his wife, Arthur Bonwell and John R. Bonwell, for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and twenty-vide dollars to us in hand paid by James Bonwell, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold and quit claimed, and by these presents do grant, bargin sell and forever quit claim unto the said James Bonwell and to his heirs and assignes all our, and each of our right, title, interest and claim....... This was dated June 5, 1856 - again in Edgar Co., Il. From the relatives still living in Edgar Co., Il. - they do live near the town of Scotland.
