Hey, you're not supposed to be answering e-mail! Yes, that's the one. I had Higginson reprint the book for me (for more than $28.00!). Either these pages were missing from their original, or they goofed in the reprint. Sounded like an interesting story, and it stopped in mid sentence. I don't know if I mentioned this, but the copy I got, which is literally a bound photocopy of the original 1857 book, has the Sabin and Vaughn names underlined in the book. That can only mean that whoever owned the original was connected to my family. Isn't that amazing? Thank your wife for offering to transcribe. That would be wonderful, but there is no rush. I know you've both got more important things on your minds. I hope you're feeling a little better today.
