Well, I'm now amazed that I got my marriage license copy (DeKalb Co.) free. I sent a letter, offered to pay for copying costs, and they sent me four copied pages (same marriage record) with a nice letter and not one mention of money. Guess it depends on their mood. I did find this information at the IRAD site: "Fees: The research services of the IRAD system are provided at no charge. Therefore, when requesting information by mail a self-addressed stamped envelope is not necessary. However, there may be a photocopy fee for which you will be billed. Unless an expenditure limit is set in advance by the researcher, authorization to produce photocopies will be requested for billings that exceed $5.00." Monica
