I probably shouldn't announce this, because then I'll be obligated to dig and and start working on it, but I just now (finally) got consent from the bank to transcribe portions of the "Tower to Tower" history of Wheaton. Thanks to Anne for following up so much on this book- John Searer was very nice- he's just been waiting and waiting for the board of directors to make a decision. I have very, very little on Wheaton, and the book doesn't seem to have many photographs. If anyone has any old town photos or vintage postcards- buildings or street scenes- and would be willing to scan them, please let me know!
