I'm sorry but there was no one by the name of Colford who served in WW 1 from Wheaton. When you mentioned Carey, did you mean the city of Cary, Illinois? If he was from Cary, he would not be in this book. This was a very narrow book in scope, with just those from Wheaton who served. Wish I could help. Mildred mallek@pensys.com
