I do think both books tend to emphasize the earliest settlers, who were mainly from New England and New York, and even with the pioneers, certain family names are repeated. Ada Harmon interviewed descendants of some of the early settlers of Glen Ellyn. If the family happened to stay in the area into the 20th C, there is more information. Christine >>
