    3. Below is a message from Mary Ann Kaylor, I forward it to see if any of you would be interested in a pool to get the 1830 Sangamon census on-line as about half of DeWitt was included in that census. If so please let me know. I have contributed to the 1840 Logan and will also to the 1830 Sangamon. You may also want to check the index of the 1902 History of Sangamon if you had any folks there. Mary Ann is trying to get that posted. Hello again, Cheryl Rothwell, the CC for Logan County, and I have been discussing the 1830 Sangamon County Census. As Logan was a part of Sangamon in 1830, Cheryl and I are interested in getting the 1830 Sangamon Census online. If we purchase an 1830, S & K Publications will donate a copy to the USGenWeb Archives and it will be available for all to research. They charge 75c a page plus $15-18 setup or somewhere around that figure. These are actual images of the census, I believe. As the 1830 Sangamon covers several other present day counties, there are many pages and the cost is estimated at about $130-$140. However if several people contributed to this, the cost per person would be minimal. Cheryl has already had a couple of donations towards this. Is anyone out there interested in helping get the 1830 Sangamon online? Earliene, how about DeWitt, it was part of Sangamon, too in 1830? Are you interested or any of your subscribers? Please feel free to comment everyone. If you wish to view the 1840 Logan, it is now online through S & K, thanks to Cheryl and contributors.
