Hi to all, I am new to your lists and am researching the Botkin/Bodkin lines. They lived and died in both Logan and DeWitt Counties. I live nearby in Decatur, IL and just located a book at the Genealogical Library in Decatur that is an index for "G. H. Tuttle Funeral Home Records "from Atlanta, Logan Co, IL.. Can anyone tell me where to locate the actual funeral home records. Are they still at a funeral home in Atlanta, or historical society or county seat? Our Botkins purchased land and settled in the early 1840's. George and Sarah were in Logan Co. along with several of their grown sons. William Needham Botkin and family were in DeWitt Co.
