Clinton Paper 11-1949 O.L. HEMMICK, 59, DIED SATURDAY Orlie Lee HEMMICK, 59, Clinton, died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday in the John Warner hospital. His death followed a stroke suffered earlier in the week. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon in Clinton Baptist church in charge of Rev. Casper Allen. The body was returned to the Pullen and Boos chapel to remain until Tuesday morning when it will be taken to Indianapolis, Ind., for burial in Washington Park cemetery. Mr. HEMMICK was born March 5, 1890 in Piqua, Ohio, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua HEMMICK, and was married to Ruby BOTTOMS, who survives with one daughter, Hazel Sue of Chicago and one sister, Mrs. J. A. Knepper of Indianapolis, Ind. Mr. HEMMICK was a member of the Clinton Baptist church and the American Legion post of Clinton. He was employed at the Shell Oil company pump station at Dewitt.
