Is anyone on the list researching the Murphy and or Cross family in early DeWitt?? I am interested to know the parents of: Richard Murphy b. abt. 1827 KY Joseph b. abt. 1815 KY Alfred b. abt. 1803 KY Mildred French m/ Peter Murphy,(probably brother to William) he died before 1840 Mildred then married Solomon Cross 12-29-1840 in DeWitt County I do not believe they would have had any children and Solomon Sr. is gone by 1850.
