Does anyone have access to Probate records 1855-1860 DeWitt County??? I am looking for a death record for my ggg grandfather John Cartmill/Cartmell. He and family are listed DeWitt County on the 1855 State Census and by 1860 Rebecca his wife is listed as a widow and living in Livingston County, IL. I would gladly pay for any costs in getting this information. His son is buried in the Halsey Cemetery and Rebecca died 1878 in the Hallsville Poorhouse. Their daughter Julia Ann married George F. Davenport 1852 in DeWitt County. Son William married Mariah/Maria Burton 1850. Daughter Polly m/ Jesse Towler 1851. Any information 1851. on this family would be helpful. Thank you. Earliene Kaelin
