I am searching for information on the Burns family from NY. My g.g. grandfather was: Henry Burns b. 1820 NY (we think Albion in Orleans County) m/ Mary E. Delancy 8-19-1856 Will County, IL He lived in Will County, IL circa 1860, Found in Sheridan , KS 1880, dies in Sangamon County 11-16-1901 I think his brother was a Richard b. 1810 NY as they are found close to one another on every census I have seen. NY Rositti (Rosetta) M. wf age 3 b. IL Mary E. wf age 1 b. IL Henry's children were as follows: Rosetta M. b. 1857 IL m/ John Dugan Mary Eliza b. 4-25-1859 m/ John Curtiss Scott John A.M. b. 1864 Adrian Michigan m/ Delcena Adams William E. b. 1866 IL. Albert Henry b. 4-13-1868 d. 10-16-1933 m/ Winifred Glaze (my g. grandfather) Arthur A. b. 4/1874 IL. d. 1926 Thomas C. b. 1878 Kansas m/ Blanche ???? Frances b. ??? m/ John Dixon Richard Burns names his son Dennis and this leads me to believe that the following could either be brother to Richard and Henry. I would love to have information on him: Buried in Texas Christian Cem. DeWitt County, IL Burns, Dennis d. 7-28-1874 78y1m1d Sally wife of Dennis d. 8-18-1876 74y14d Henry and Richard lived in this area at this time.
