Dear List Members, Can someone in Illinois tell me if the State of Illinois does anything about rescue of old cemeteries? Does the Illinois State Genealogical Society keep a list of old cemeteries from information supplied by members? How about the DeWitt County Genealogical Society? This information should not be lost. Earliene, maybe you should write these up for an article in one of the quarterlies. You deserve the credit for seeking them out and reading the tombstones.
