The 1909 history has been out of print for several years. The Crawford Co. Historical Soc. recently reprinted this book. It picks up from the 1883 history of Crawford Co. The historical soc. is still offering this book at pre-publication price, the amount stated above, until Aug. 31. Crawford Co. Historical Soc. P.O. Box 554, Robinson, IL 62454 They only ordered a couple hundred. Sue
Sue, would you mind giving a brief run-down of what's in the book? Is it primarily a history of the county, mentioning mainly the movers-and-shakers, or does it cover a broad range of the counties in the family, a-la Donna Johnston's "Our Crawford County Illinois Heritage"? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the 1883 history book. Jim Mesa, AZ Interested in the Crawford Co. Doyal/Doyle & related families. > -----Original Message----- > From: Sue Jones [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Friday, August 17, 2001 8:29 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: reprinted history book > > > HI everyone.
