Transcribed by Dan Weger. Robinson Argus 4/9/1987 Flora Ping, 90, rural Oblong, died Tuesday, March 31, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital. Born in Crawford County January 29, 1897, she was a daughter of Levi Martin and Arminta Charlotte Weck Biggs. She was a member of Bellair Church of Christ. On January 30, 1917 she married Olan Ping and he died September 6, 1959. Also preceding her in death were three brothers; two sisters, and her parents. Surviving are a son, Kenneth Ping, Oblong; a brother, Perry Biggs, Oblong; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 2, at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong. Brother James Rue officiated. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery, northwest of Oblong.
