Transcribed by Dan Weger. Robinson Argus 6/5/1958 Funeral Services for Sam Jordan at Oak Grove Church Funeral services for Samuel P. Jordan, 74, retired farmer of Route 2, Palestine, were held Sunday afternoon at the Oak Grove Church with Rev. Carl Hall officiating, assisted by Rev. Alan Jones. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Mr. Jordan, who was the son of William F. and Chloe Stoner Jordan, died early Saturday morning at the Schmidt Clinic. He is survived by his widow, Lauda; one daughter, Mrs. Buell Fuller of Robinson; one son, Gene of Sunnymeade, California; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Henderickson of Danville and Mrs. Gladys Rodocker of Palestine; one grandson and four great-grandchildren.
