It's been reported by researchers that he died in 1863 in Oblong,Crawford,Illinois? Suspect this John GLAZE to be the son of Henry GLAZE/Sarah GREEN(E). Also had brother Benjamin GLAZE b.1813 Licking Co.,Oh. ,found on the 1880 census index under Benj.(GLAGE). Researchers have Henry GLAZE born 1774&1784 Switzerland. A descendant e-mailed to say she saw his marker in Licking Co.,Oh.died 1814 ,age 30,so that puts his DOB 1784. No one I've contacted knows where the idea Henry was born Switzerland came from? We suspect Henry GLAZE was born 1784 MaryLAND,not SwitzerLAND, SUSPECT father was John GLAZE b.abt.1760 Pa.,moved to Md.,then Wood Co.,Va.SUSPECT this John GLAZE was one of seven sons of Erhardt GLAZE born Germany?
