Richard Belknap, and found him listed as an early Brethern minister. I also noticed an Elder "John Shuey" which was my grandfather's given names. John Shuey Belknap was born in Crawford County to Richard W., and Anna Belknap. I am trying to find out about Richard's life. He was a Captain in the Illinois Infantry, and is buried in the Hutsonville Cemetary, Lot 27 "New". If you can lead me to any other information, I will be most in your debt. Sincerly, Charles Belknap
