Here is the info I have on John Weck who would be my great-great-grandfather. John Weck born 1825-1904 was married to Sophia Jay their childred are: Sarah Weck b. 1861 John E Weck b.1865 Lucy E Weck b. 1869 Frank Edward Weck b.1875-1938 (my great grandfather) Amos Weck b.1879 I too have come to a brick wall on the Weck history. From what I have gathered there was quite a bit of un-spoken history there. I know my great grandfather was practically banished from the family, in fact he died in a institution in Jacksonville, IL Please contact me if you have any furter information or if you would like to have more information that I have.
