I'm just posting an Obit that was sent to me by Barbara Dix who is transcribing old news articles for the website. Former Resident Dies in Terre Haute Mrs. John A. Davis who years ago lived just south of Hutsonville in the brick house now owned by Herman Mehler, died this week at her home in Terre Haute at the advanced age of seventy six. While living here she was an active worker in the Christian Church. She has a family of grown up daughters of whom the eldest is now Mrs. Chas. Fiddler who also was a native of this town.
