The only Leach family in that time frame in Crawford county was Reuben and Lydia (second wife) Leach. They did have two sons Alfred C. and John A. about the right age. In the biographical about the family it says Alfred and John were living in Kansas (1883). If you think this is the right family I will type up the article for you.
