I'm just posting an Obit that was sent to me by Barbara Dix who is transcribing old news articles for the website. Virgil, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Guyer, died Monday at the home of his parents five miles northwest of town, following an attack of measles. He was aged 16 years, 5 months and 4 days. He had been ill but a few days, and it was {not} thought his condition was serious until a few hours before his death. Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers. He was a boy of excellent character, well liked by his associates, and the family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. Funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday by Revs. Cyrus Guyer and J. H. Willfong. Internent was made in the Rains Cemetery.
