Johnson died at her home in Hastings, NE March 4 (1913). She was born Sarah J. Evans in the north part of Crawford County, April 16, 1839. She married J. M. Johnson in 1839 and moved to Minnesota in 1872. She is an aunt of Mrs. A. B. Woolverton of here. She is survived by three daughters residing at Hastings and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Guyer of Oblong.
