Would anyone know who the parents of Henry White were? This line has many names such as Capt John White m. Sarah Leonard. There is mention of Capt. Charles Swearingen--and other Crawford Co. names. This goes way back--and appears to be well-documented. Also, Steve Ezell, if you are out there, please contact me. I lost your e-mail. Ihave found two possibles for our George Washington White, born in 1820. John and James White were in 1820 Crawford IL census. John goes back to NC. and reappears in Crawford Co married to Jane. He is 62 at the time. I believe this Jane to be Jane York. But, he was also married to one Elizabeth Powell earlier and possbily Mary Pitman. James was also married to Elsy Foster. Shari in SC
