Creed son of William and Caroline Daugherty Creed was born Nov. 19, 1849 in Owen Co., Indiana. He died at his home west of Trimble on Aug. 9, 1930. He came to Crawford County in 1875 and lived with his sister, Miranda Meek. He married Jan. 19, 1879 Rebecca Hall who died August 1924. They were the parents of 10 children, all lived to adulthood but one, Mrs. Dovie Forsythe who died in 1920. Living are Miss Bertha Wilkin,[sic] Mrs. Rose Welsh, Mrs. Leona Beabout, Mrs. Effie Sechrest, Roscoe Creed, Elmer Creed, Mrs. Pearl Tracy and at home Bert and Lola Creed, and a brother Noah Creed survives. Buried at Oak Grove.
