George Washington White was buried in Palestine Cemetery. I have a picture of his tombstone that was inscribed Co D, 47 IL US INF. I found that George started out with CO A, Fulton Co. IL, and consolidated with CO D. My questions are: In the Palestine Cemetery listings at the Crawford GENWEB site, George is in Row 12. The listing states that there is a small wooden marker, no date and name, and a small stone with the name of Forest. From the way the listing is laid out, it appears this goes with George. Does anyone know if this listing came from a cemetery book---or was a visual? Could George have been buried on top of his wife or possibly mother? Also, does anyone know who the A. G. H. White was that died 13 FEB 1857 at age 17. He was buried in Row 12, and was 17 yrs old. A. G. H. is buried by the Kitchells and Cosens. Thanks for any information. Shari
