I have no connection to anyone listed herein or no further information about them. DEATH SUMMONS PARIS MINISTER, REV .EDWIN LORD Paris Ill., Nov. 29th, --The funeral of Rev. Edwin Lynde Lord, D. D., pastor of the First Presbyterian church, who passed away Saturday afternoon at the Paris hospital, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the church of which he had been a faithful pastor for nearly 10 years. The Rev. Dr. Batchelor of the Presbyterian church of Mattoon will conduct the funeral. Following the services the body of Dr. Lord will be returned to the Morrisons, in South Central avenue, where it will remain until the latter part of the week, when it will be removed to Hudson, Ohio, a former home, for burial. Mrs. Lord will close up the manse here and will go with the body to Hudson. There was wide sorrow throughout Paris as the death of Dr. Lord, who was the dean of the ministerial forces in Paris and who had been a leader in all civic and moral movements here. The services of the Presbyterian church for Sunday were suspended; the church door being closed with a mourning wreath on the! upper panel. It is expected the church will be crowded at the funeral on Tuesday. Local Representation The First Presbyterian church will be officially represented at the services for Dr. Lord, and the Rev. S. P. Allison will assist. Dr. Lord was prominent in the work of the Presbytery and the synod of Illinois and was well known in the Charleston church.
