    2. This obituary was copied from the collection located at the Robinson Public Library. The obituaries themselves are usually not dated. Whoever made the collection has written down the dates by hand. The source of the obituary (i.e. which newspaper) is also not included. Transcribed by Dan Weger. Charles Lester Weger, son of Samuel and Jocie Weger was born February 18, 1861, and departed this life February 21, 1920, aged 59 years, 3 days. He was married to Viola Parker, September 3, 1885. To this union were born nine children: Marion, Otto, Hanby, Carl, John, Cora, Lizzie, Samuel and Leonard. Carl preceded him in death several years. John died in the service of his country and lies sleeping in France. Departed has three brothers and one sister surviving him: J. William of Forest, Miss.; Alfred Parmer of Ukiah, Cal.; Frank of Boulder, Col., and Lucy of Cripple Creek, Col. He was born in Honey Creek township where he was well known and everyone was his friend. He was a kind and affectionate husband and father for his wife and children were first in his life. He was a citizen and neighbor whose loss will be greatly felt by the community. He was a member of Camp No. 2133 M.W.A. for twenty-four years. He was a firm believer in God and immortality. Funeral services were conducted at the residence by Rev. I. C. Tedford and the remains laid to rest in the Jones cemetery.
