Robinson Daily News Wednesday 2/25/1920 Lorice Adele Pleasant, only child of Robert D. and Arminta Pleasant, was born at Robinson, Ill., August 27, 1882 and departed this life, February 13, 1920 at the age of 37 years, 5 months and 16 days. The funeral services were held at the First M. E. church Monday, by the pastor, Rev. R. L. George. Interment was made in the Greenwood cemetery at Newton, Kans. She was taken sick with influenza February 4, but it was thought she was practically recovered when pneumonia developed on the day of her death. Lorice united with the M. E. church in early life and lived a Christian life until death. She was united in marriage to Lant Linville, December 20, 1905 at Indianapolis, Ind. To this union were born two daughters, Albert Janette, age 12 and Alice Lavon, age 10. Besides the husband, two daughters and an aged father, who resides in Los Angeles, Cal., she is survived by many relatives. Her mother preceded her in death, November 20, 1910. Mrs. Linville was a devoted wife and mother and will be sadly missed not only by her family and relatives but by many friends here and elsewhere.
