Howard, died at age 69 at 9:40 p.m. Monday at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born in Crawford County on Aug. 13, 1911, daughter of Arthur Willard and Alta Dennis Willard. In 1932 she was married to L. E. "Hank" Fox who preceded her in death in 1963. Mrs. Fox was secretary for Unit 2 from 1958 until 1976, and was a member of the First United Methodist church, the Twentieth Century Club and the United Methodist Women. Surviving her are two sons, Jim of Robinson and Rex of Knoxville, one daughter, Mrs. Rob (Barbara) Bailey of Oblong, seven grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Virginia Woodall of Birmingham, Ala., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson with Rev. Judson Souers officiating. Burial will follow at the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
