Fox, 83, Robinson, died about 5:10 p.m. (EST) Monday at Crest View Nursing Home in Vincennes, Inc. Born in Crawford County June 2, 1902, he was a son of Leon and Bessie Berry Fox. On March 17, 1930, he married Mary Elsperman. He was a retired lab technician for Marathon Oil Co. for over 38 years; member of First Baptist Church in Robinson; Loyal Order of Moose and BPOE Elks Lodge 1188 in Robinson for 57 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary; a son, William Gene Fox, Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Fox was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Robinson with Rev. Maurice Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson New Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
