Barb, Thanks once again for the info on your Gill family. This gives me another place to look for my White line. I did find a James White in Franklin Co. KY who m. a Frances Hutchison. I realize there were a lot with the same names---and the English or whoever sure changed some of the spellings of those names!! It never dawned on me so many could not speak a word of English. The Irish/Scots even had their own dialect. Shari
