    3. Barb, Thanks again. I did a search for Fishing Creek, SC and came upon a great website. It is www.angelfire.com/folk/scsites There is a gravesite link---and is very interesting with a lot of names on one marker in York, SC. Also, several other links that include some general history of battles--and where they took place. I also saw a Thomas Gill was taken as a prisoner to Charles Town by one Col. Richard Richardson. Was wondering if this might be your Thomas. There is also a Fishing Creek at Union, SC. Some of the gravesite pictures are of churches and graveyards--with tombstones. the one for York at Bethel Pres. Church is very nice--with name of Samuel Neely. Very nice stone with wife and children listed on it. Some of the stones were donated by the children of a school in York Co. SC. There is also some maps that show migration, for example, the Great Philadelphia Wagon Road. Thanks again to anyone who sends me info that I might connect to my line in Casey Co. Ky and Crawford Co.
