I'm just posting an Obit that was sent to me by Barbara Dix who is transcribing old news articles for the website. All known information about this obituary including dates, locations, and newspaper are posted here, if known. Harrison Guyer died Saturday at his home in West York following an illness extending over two years. He was born three miles west of West York Jan.15, 1858, and was aged 54 years, 10 months and 8 days. He was married Oct. 21, 1886, to Miss. Edith Chambers, whose death occured Nov. 6, 1900. To this union was born three children, Cebron, Lester and Essie. He was again married Sept. 16, 1901 to Bertha Steel, who, with his children, five sisters and one brother survives. Mr. Guyer has suffered much during the past year, but he bore his afflictions well and was appreciative of the efforts made to give him comfort. He was well known throughout the township. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Friends Church, interment was made in the Guyer Cemetery.
