It's been awhile since I posted to the list about my DOTY search so I thought I would update.... I am researching the family of Jonathan "John" DOTY (c1760-b1819) and Anna MANN. Anna's second husband was Seth H. BATES whom she married 7 Jun 1820 in Crawford County, Illinois. Jonathan DOTY was the son of Samuel DOTY and Keturah (?) and a descendant of Pilgrim Edward DOTY. Children and their spouses of Jonathan and Anna: Anna married to Pleasant WHITTON Levi married to (1) Matilda PHIPPS, (2) Melinda PHIPPS, (3) Lillis M. WHITE GILLETT Samuel married to Margaret LAWRENCE James married to Mary TEEL Sarah married to Van S. EASTIN I would welcome hearing from any other researcher who is interested in this family.
