I cannot find a Alfred Crocker on the 1830 or 1840 census for NC when his children were born and so far I have not found the parents in any obituaries I have accquired. Does someone out there have them listed on one of their childrens death certificates? On any of the census I have seen any of them on they are listed as white. Elizabeth Crocker Hill b. 4-12-1842 in Goldsboro NC, married George E. Hill in 1872 and died in 4-1920 . They came to Kansas from Colorado and had lived in Pomona for 26 years. She was survived by her husband and an adopted daughter. Mrs. E. Brown of Ottawa. Simpson Crocker was born 4-11-1833 in NC and died 8-30-1902 in Pomona. He lived in Franklin County, KS 23 years his home being between Quenemo and Pomona. He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery. His wife Telitha Bledsoe Crocker died in 3-1917. ! I am from the Curtis Crocker line of the family. Francis Marion Crocker was his only child. Zelphia Crocker and Oliver Bishop were living in El Paso, County, Colorado. I was told Zelphia died there 7-1-1897 but there is no record of her in the cemetery at monument, O. H. Bishop died there 12-13-1898 at the home of his brother William Bishop. He had lived on the divide for 20 years. He had served in the Cicil War for 4 years. I would like any information you may have on Alfred and Pearcy Crocker.

    2. Admire, James (Jim)
    3. As the creator of the original Lookups page many years ago, I know that many of them are free. For example, the very first entry is me, to do a lookup on the ILLINOIS 1820 CENSUS INDEX. What may be confusing, is that the page lists where the source can be purchased from. Something, I thought would be useful for some people. It appears that all of the ones that are online have broken links. For example: Transcription of some early Crawford Co., IL Marriage Consent Slips says "Click here to see list" in the availability column. The link to http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilcrawfo/marriage.htm however is not found. 1. 1870 Census and Kuykendall line
    2. shari horton
    3. Is there an 1870 Crawford Co. IL census? Also, does anyone have a Margaret Kuykendall who married Charles Reynolds in 1804 in Louisville, KY? I noticed one Daniel Kuykendall in the early census for Crawford Co. Am trying to figure out why James Reynolds brought his family into Crawford Co about 1855 or 1856. His children were Mildred Reynolds (m. James S. DeWitt), William Thomas (married Jane Weatherman, aka Letta Brush Reynolds), Emily Jane (m. John W. Mann, Hickman Henderson, and Joseph Sponsler Baker), and James Daniel (m. Isabel (Belle) White, 13 JULY 1865, Robinson, Crawford Co. IL). James was married to Eliza Spurling in 1830 in Green Co. KY. He remarried Martha Pierson/Pearson in 1859 in Crawford Co. Believe some of his family was in Crawford Co. Just trying to figure out which ones! Thanks for any info. Shari

    3. Looking for info on JOHN B. WILLIAMSON. He married HESTER PRATT WILSON, 18 MAY 1824 in Crawford Co. IL. I noticed him the Crawford Co. Honor Roll for Revolutionary War. Was wondering if this is the same John who married Lucretia Tice in NJ. My Williamson, White, Reynolds, Hume line all seem to come together in Crawford Co. at some point--then expand to Madison, Macoupin, and Pike Co. IL. Also, does anyone have a Lucy Ann Baker or Polly Margaret Ellis that was once married to one George White. They married in IN in 1846 and in 1849. Thanks for any info. Shari
