She is survived by her husband D.W. Quakenbush, one daughter, Mrs. C.O. Kernner, and her mother Mrs. Amanda McCrillis, all of Oblong. The body will lie in state at the Hall Funeral Home, East Main Street, Oblong, until Wednesday, where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted at the Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with Rev. Otto of the Central Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Oblong cemetery.

Aunt Lucy was stricken and God called her home to rest about three hours later. She was the daughter of Matthias and Sarah Ann Ridenour, born April 15, 1860 in Kirk Chapel vicinity where she spent her entire life. She was the youngest of a family of nine children all of whom have preceded her in death except an aged sister Sarah Vining of Beaver City, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Josiah W. Quick December 2, 1883, who preceded her in death May 23, 1917. To this union six children were born: Mrs. Ethel M. Musgrave, Isaac Irl, Frank R., Mrs. Mary A. Hartleroad, Addie E. and Mrs. Nellie M. Tracy all of whom survive except Addie E. who died January 22, 1897, at the age of two years. She leaves to mourn her death besides her children, twenty grand children, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is one who will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Words that we speak today cannot do her justice, only those who knew her intimately can appreciate the beauty and cheerfulness of her life. Note: Daughter in Law Bertha is the wife of Isaac Irl.

Riley Quick, son of Reyniear and Elizabeth Quick was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, May 3, 1845 and died February 8, 1919, aged 73 years, 9 months, and 5 days. He was married to Miss Rebecca Ridenour, April 7, 1870. She died October 30, 1884 and he was married again to November 11, 1885 to Miss Evaline Smith, who survives. He leaves to mourn a faithful wife; Miss Nora King, who has made her home with them for eight years; two brothers Lewis and Ennis; and one sister Mrs Laura M. Buskirk. The remains were laid to rest in Kirk Cemetery. Note: William did not have any children with either wife.

Mrs. Riker whose maiden name was Amanda Knicely, was born in Miamisville, Ohio January 14, 1832. On April 3, 1862 she was married to John Riker, who died on April 27, 1889. Five children were born to them, three of whom are now living. J.S. Riker of Stoy, Francis E. of Rantoul, Illinois, and Mr. J.C. Taylor of Pryor, Okalhoma. Mr. and Mrs. Riker came to Robinson about 50 years ago and have since lived here and in this vicinity. Interment was made in the old cemetery by the side of her husband.

He came to this county with his parents when a small boy and located at New Hebron, where he grew to manhood. Early in young manhood, he united in marriage in this county with Miss Mary A. Stark, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Samuel Stark and of this union five children were born, three sons and two daughters. The wife and mother departed this life August 8, 1890 and later Mr. Kaley was united in marriage with Miss Eunice E. Wolfe of Terre Haute, Indiana, who survives him. Three of his children preceded him in deat:h Cora M. who died in infancy, Minerva B., and Charles Edward who both passed away just a few years ago. One son Martin M. resides on a farm near Fulton, Kansas and Clarence H. S. lives at the old home place, known as "Cherry Lawn" in New Hebron. He is also survived by one brother, Charles P. of Chicago and three sisters: Mrs. Elmira Bussard of Robinson, Mrs. Elizabeth Paige of Portland, Oregon, and Mrs. Mary Beam of Caldwell, Idaho. Also eight grandsons, three granddaughters, and one great grandson. Early in the Civil War he enlisted in the 98th Illinois (Wilder's Brigade) and served for three years.

Also two sons: Leslie Lindley of Rockville, Indiana and Randall Lindley at home. Also three sisters and one brother. He was 70 years of age.

He came to this county with his parents in 1865 and has since resided here. He was one of a family of seven having four brothers: William R. Lewis C. , Charlie G. and Ennis, and three sisters: Mary, Lorenia and Laura Melissie Buskirk. One brother Charlie and two sisters Mrs. Mary Furman and Lorenia having preceded him to the better land. He was married to Miss Lucy A. Ridenour on Dec 2, 1883. to this union were born six children: Ethel M. Musgrave, Isaac Irl Frank R., Mary A., Addie E. and Nellie M. all of whom except Addie E. who died Jan 22, 1897 at the age of two years, survive him. Funeral services at Kirk Chapel. She was married to George W. Fuller August 31, 1871, who is left. Eight children were born to them: Mrs. Alma Baker, Glen Fuller and Grover Fuller of Heathsville, Mrs. Luna McKibbin of Lawrenceville, and Dr. William G. Fuller of Los Angeles, Cal. Two children, Laura and Riley died in infancy and Mort Fuller preceded his mother by only a few months.

An inquiry was conducted by Coroner L.P. Sloan and cuase of death was found to have been a hemmorhage at the base of the brain. Funeral services were held at Kirk Chapel Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Frank Treadway of Oblong in charge. Burial was in the Kirk Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Elnora, two sons David of Lawrenceville and Jerry of Oak Ridge Tenn; a daughter Mr. Grace Moore of Robinson, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
