Hi List, I really need to obtain the birth record/certificate for my gg-grandfather to hopefully learn the birth place of his mother... The year is 1872 and from what I understand, IL doesn't have records that far back :( I have his parents names but need more on his mother... ANY suggestions?? Thanks for any help. Sierra, CA
