Hi Martin, Yes, the Coles County Clerk's office has marriage records for the time period you mentioned. The cost of the certificate is $7.00. However, you must remember that marriages during that time period will only have the date of the marriage, the bride and groom's names, and the name of the man performing the marriage. There are no parents names or where they were born. To obtain certificates, just sent the money to the Coles County Clerk, Coles County Courthouse, Charleston, IL 61920. They will get the certificate back to you as soon as they can. If you need to find out specifically when they were married, you'll need to contact me directly, as I don't do lookups over the list. If so, is there a particular person I would contact there to obtain copies of these events? Thanks in advance for any comments, guidance, suggestions etc. Martin de Vore Humble, Texas mddevore@neosoft.com
