Seeking any info on John or Wesley BROWNING (He used both first names) Only thing I find on him is 1860 Fedl. census. He is age 25, an engineer, b. IL, wife Matilda age 25, b. IL, dau Alice, age 4. Everyone on page was dittoed as b. IL. In 1864, he was living there: I have official patent papers he filed in Mattoon. I can't find him either before or after these dates.
